Dr. Kristina Lim grew up in southwest Florida. She graduated from Cornell University and then attended the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine where she earned her medical degree. She went on to complete her transitional year internship at Lehigh Valley Health Network, followed by a three-year residency in dermatology at LVHN, serving as Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. Lim subsequently completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery & Dermatologic Oncology at LVHN where she received extensive training in specialized skin cancer surgery and reconstruction. She also received additional training in cosmetic dermatologic procedures such as facial fillers, lasers, and botulinum toxins (e.g. Botox®, Dysport®).
Dr. Lim is double board certified in dermatology and micrographic dermatologic surgery (Mohs surgery) by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and Women's Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Lim has published numerous scientific articles and given lectures and professional presentations regionally and nationally on various topics including dermatological surgery techniques and quality improvement, which are of particular interest to her. She is fellowship-trained and board certified in Mohs micrographic surgery and surgical defect reconstruction.
Dr. Lim approaches her patients with compassion, understanding, and respect. She is focused on optimal treatment outcomes and is invested in alleviating concerns and providing education regarding skin cancer and skin health. Dr. Lim enjoys the art of medicine, the precision of surgery and reconstruction, and the privilege to build strong, trusting relationships with her patients.
